KC Dawgs Flag Football is inviting young athletes ages 6–12 to join its neighborhood teams for the 2026 season. Led by Head Coach Dawud Abdullah, a former Central High School and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff student-athlete with more than 20 years of youth coaching experience, the program focuses on conditioning, football fundamentals, teamwork, and skill development in a supportive environment.
Practices begin Monday, August 17, 2026, and are held Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6:00 p.m. at Crews Square, 2601 Woodland Ave., Kansas City, MO 64127. Practices last approximately two hours and will initially focus on conditioning, stretching, throwing, catching, ball handling, and proper flag-pulling techniques.
Athletes should arrive about five minutes early, wear lightweight weather-appropriate clothing with tennis shoes or football cleats, and bring their own water bottle to every practice. Families will also have an opportunity to meet the individual age-group coaches at the first practice.
