Land of Opportunity is a documentary series that explores how the neighborhoods we grow up in shape our sense of belonging, opportunity, and hope. Through stories with residents, organizers, builders, and dreamers, the series reimagines trust, beauty, and connection in the places we call home and asks how we can build communities and a country where opportunity truly belongs to everyone.
Land of Opportunity is fiscally sponsored by Community Capital Fund (CCF) through a Model A Fiscal Sponsorship. A pre-grant relationship model, Model C fiscal sponsorship provides an alternative to starting a nonprofit for mission-aligned, community development projects in the Greater Kansas City region. Charitable projects selected for this program are able to seek grants and tax-deductible donations without having their own 501(c)(3) status, thus increasing the capacity and impact of their projects.
