The sister organization of Community Capital Fund, AltCap's mission is to empower underserved entrepreneurs by providing accessible capital to pursue their dreams and help communities thrive. AltCap offers flexible small business loans, technical assistance, and resources to help entrepreneurs grow and create more vibrant, resilient communities. By bridging financing gaps, AltCap supports economic empowerment for all.
AltCap is fiscally sponsored by Community Capital Fund (CCF) through a Model C Fiscal Sponsorship. A pre-grant relationship model, Model C fiscal sponsorship provides an alternative to starting a nonprofit for mission-aligned, community development projects in the Greater Kansas City region. Charitable projects selected for this program are able to seek grants and tax-deductible donations without having their own 501(c)(3) status, thus increasing the capacity and impact of their projects.
